We know that children learn best through play.

The Ross Preschool provides a play-based, nature-oriented program facilitated by a team of nurturing professionals.

Engaging activities fill each day with joyful learning, collaboration and exploration.

Our Teachers

The teachers at Ross Preschool are highly experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping our students grow emotionally and intellectually. We maintain student-to-teacher ratios which are often lower than other programs and state requirements.

Andrea Ahern

Andrea’s love of children first brought her to work at Manor Elementary School and Saint Raphael's Preschool before she finally joined the The Ross Preschool team as an assistant teacher. The play-based learning philosophy and dedicated team of teachers greatly appealed to what she knew - children learn best through play. Andrea, who was born in Brazil, moved to the Bay Area in 1997 where she opened Brazil Marin, a Specialty Store. Andrea eventually sold her company so she would have more time to dedicate to raising her children and pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Andrea has been married for 17 years and has two girls, Elena (15) and Julia (11). Andrea loves spending time at the beach, camping and skiing.
